Summer Keeps Hanging On

TONIGHT: Any lingering showers or storms will die off as the sun sets. It will be another warm and muggy night with mostly clear skies. Lows will remain around 70 degrees.

FRIDAY: Another hot and humid day is in store. Temperatures will once again climb into the low 90s with heat indices creeping towards 100. A few areas may see a stray shower or storm, but most will stay dry. Rain chance around 30%.

WEEKEND: Still quite warm, with highs at or around 90°. A couple of stray showers and storms possible in the afternoon, but the majority of folks stay hot and dry. Rain chance around 20%.

NEXT WEEK: Highs remain in the upper 80s to near 90°. Overall rain chances will remain low Monday through Wednesday, around or below 10%.

BEYOND 7 DAYS: A cold front looks to push through at the end of next week which will likely bring some more rain and will bring temperatures back to or below normal. That will take us into the beginning of October and it may finally feel like fall. How much cooler it will be and how long it will last is still to be determined, but stay tuned for the latest.
