Sunny, Hot, & Humid Weekend

Saturday’s Forecast

SUMMARY:  The hottest weekend of the year is upon us but it will be good for any outdoor activity you may have planned.  Not sizeable rain chance exists until the middle to end of next week.

FRIDAY NIGHT: Clear, calm, and quiet. Lows in the upper 60s to around 70°.

SATURDAY-TUESDAY:  Look for mostly sunny to partly cloudy skies each day. Daytime highs should be generally in the mid 90s with overnight lows around 70°.  While a stray shower can never be ruled out in this kind of weather pattern we don’t expect any issues at this time.  Be sure to find a cool spot during the heating of the day with heat indices peaking in the mid to upper 90s.

WEDNESDAY-FRIDAY:  The extreme heat should back off just a little bit as a weak cold front approaches.  Highs will likely still be around 90° or into the lower 90s.  We’re going to add a 20% chance of a shower or storm during this period but keep in mind cold fronts have a difficult time making their way this far south during the summer months.
