Sunshine Before Some Much Needed Rain

TONIGHT: Remaining clear. Temperatures will drop into the low 30s with relatively calm winds. This will lead to great viewing conditions for the Geminid Meteor Shower tonight. For best viewing head to a rural area between 10 PM and 2 AM and look to the sky.

THURSDAY: Once again we will be mostly sunny with temperatures in the mid to upper 50s. Overnight lows will be in the upper 20s.

FRIDAY: A few clouds may build in, but plenty of sunshine will remain. Cooler and drier air will filter in as well, keeping temperatures in the upper 40s and low 50s.

THIS WEEKEND: Saturday should remain mostly dry, but a few showers may move in overnight. The bulk of the rain however will hold off until Sunday as the next cold front moves through. Highs on Saturday and Sunday will be near 60 degrees with lows in the mid 40s. Winds will also begin to pick up just ahead of and behind the front.

NEXT WEEK: The forecast for next week is up in the air. Some models are suggesting that we see more moisture for the beginning of the week, but others aren’t so sure. For now we are going with a 10% chance of rain for Monday and 30% for Tuesday. We should dry out for Wednesday. Temperatures will remain around normal.
