More Sunshine; Warmer Weather On The Way.
TODAY: A lot of snow lovers are going to wake up disappointed this morning. Cold air moved slower than forecast, which meant more rain than snow fell. Still, some spots saw a little bit of snow stick to grassy and elevated surfaces. Any snow this morning will quickly melt away under lots of sunshine. Despite the sun, it will be a chilly day, with highs in the 30s. Winds will be out of the northwest at around 10-20 mph gusting as high as 25 mph. That will keep wind chills in the teens and 20s through the day. Clear skies overnight tonight, with lows in the upper teens and low 20s.
WED/THU: Mostly sunny skies through mid-week, with highs climbing into the low 40s Wednesday and low 50s Thursday. Lows in the mid 20s Wednesday night and mid 30s Thursday night.
FRIDAY-MONDAY: The warming trend will continue through the end of this week and into the start of next week. Temperatures in the mid to upper 50s Friday, and in the 60s this weekend and Monday. Showers return to the forecast as well, but rain chances will remain fairly low through the weekend.
