Taylor Sworn In

JACKSON, Miss. (WCBI) – Cheikh Taylor is officially representing House District 38. Taylor was sworn in this morning at the state capitol.

He fills the seat held by Tyrone Ellis who retired this summer.

Taylor cites issues such as education, job skills training, and criminal justice reform as some of his priorities as a state representative.

Taylor serves as executive director of the Brickfire Project in Starkville.

The legislature convenes on January 2nd.
