Teen Hit By School Bus

TUPELO, Miss. (WCBI) – A teenager in Tupelo is reportedly hit by a school bus.

The incident happened in the area of Barnes Crossing and Johnson Heights Roads about 4 this afternoon.

Tupelo police say the 16-year-old was taken to the hospital with what appeared to be minor injuries.

A police spokesman says it’s unclear if the teen was a student or if the victim had been riding the same school bus.

TPD continues to investigate the incident.
