Tennessee Man Accused Of Enticing Itawamba County Child

ITAWAMBA COUNTY (WCBI) – A new trial date is set for a Tennessee man accused of using an online game to entice a 12 year old Itawamba County girl into a sexual relationship.

25 year old Wesley Scott Greene of Ooltewah, Tenesssee is accused of meeting the girl in December while in an online gaming room.  An April federal indictment says Greene, who was living in Alabama at the time drove to Mantachie over the Christmas holidays and met the victim.  The federal task force officers and Itawamba investigators  tracking the case say Greene forced the girl to perform sex acts on him on those visits.  Investigators even tracked Greenes car crossing the Mississippi Alabama state line on Interstate 22 on the days the alleged crimes took place.  Greene was scheduled to stand trial June 6 but that is now scheduled for August 8th.
