The municipal elections qualifying period begins Monday, January 4th

MISSISSIPPI (WCBI) – Monday, January 4th, marks the beginning of the qualifying period for municipal elections in Mississippi.

Aldermen, mayors, and councilors can now throw their names in the hat to lead their cities.

The first primary election will be held on April 6th.
