STARKVILLE, Miss. (WCBI) — Three men with extensive government experience are the finalists to be Starkville’s chief administrative officer.

The three include current Starkville finance director Taylor Adams, former Decatur alderman and administrator in the governor’s broadband initiative Mike Anderson, and Andrew Ellard who works in Hattiesburg’s community development division.

Twenty-two people originally applied for the position.

Aldermen will interview the three finalists starting at 4 p.m. Jan. 7.

The selection will fill the position left open when Aldermen fired Lynn Spruill in July.
