Tim Mitchell pleads not guilty to all charges, bonds out

GRENADA COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) –  Webster County Sheriff Tim Mitchell was back in court Wednesday, and also headed home.

This is his first appearance since being indicted by a grand jury.

Earlier Wednesday morning Webster County Sheriff Tim Mitchell was arraigned.

He plead not guilty to each of his 12 felony charges.

He is out on bond, but with conditions.

Mitchell will be under house arrest. He will be electronically monitored with an ankle bracelet.

He also is not allowed to talk with the Webster County Sheriff’s Office or conduct any sheriff duties.

A trial date has been set for June 24 with the goal to have it in the new Webster County Court House.
