Tishomingo County Places Schools Under Lockdown

IUKA, MS (WCBI) – Tishomingo County Schools are currently under a lockdown this morning.  Below is the statement released by the district concerning the situation:

All schools within the school district have been placed on lockdown due to a reported threat. We will remain on lockdown until the situation is resolved. We have no immediate threat at this time and this is a precautionary measure. Due to the safety of our students and employees, parents will not be allowed to pickup students at this time, until the situation is resolved. We appreciate your cooperation. Again, this is a precautionary measure.

 

The district will notify the public when the situation has been cleared.
