Tishomingo house fire kills woman

TISHOMINGO COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – A house fire in Tishomingo County turned deadly Wednesday evening.

Coroner Mack Wilemon said the victim is Linda Kay Taylor, 58.

Wilemon said another occupant in the house smelled smoke and realized it was coming from Taylor’s bedroom.

The person opened the door and saw that the room was full of smoke.

The fire was confined to the area.
