Town remembers Pittsboro Mayor

PITTSBORO, Miss. (WCBI)- The town of Pittsboro remembered mayor, Reda Bullard, who passed away Sunday.

Tuesday, people celebrated Bullard’s life at her visitation at the Pittsboro Baptist Church.

The town placed black ribbons on doors to honor the longtime leader.

And many businesses shut their doors for the day.

Bullard served as mayor for over 20 years.

She was first elected in 1991.
