Trees Down Due to Strong Winds

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI)- After storms rolled through Thursday afternoon, gusty winds between 30 to 40 miles per hour associated with the remnants of Tropical Storm Harvey, blew through the area.

This caused some minor damage to trees, including to one which fell overnight blocking Military Road near the Columbus – Lowndes Public Library.

Numerous trees were also reported down across Attala and Grenada Counties.
