Troopers Crack Down On School Zone Speeding

NEW ALBANY, MS  (WCBI)  Nearly 150 motorists in Northeast Mississippi  are getting  a costly reminder to slow down in school zones.    The New Albany district of the Highway Patrol is wrapping up a three day zero tolerance for speeding in school zones enforcement drive.   Trooper Ray Hall says during the 3 day period 146 tickets for school zone violations were handed out across the district.    There are 31 highways which pass by schools in the district.  Hall adds the enforcement effort will continue over the next few months.
