Troopers investigating crash involving backhoe and 18-wheeler in New Albany

NEW ALBANY, Miss. (WCBI) – The west bound lanes of a highway in New Albany have been shutdown because of a crash involving an 18-wheeler and backhoe.

The crash happened on US 72 west bound, near the Hamilton Hopewell crossing.

Troopers are currently on the scene of the accident.

Drivers are asked to use caution in the area.
