Crash kills Booneville man, other involved could face charges

PRENTISS COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – A Booneville man is dead after a Tuesday morning hit-and-run.

Allen Crowe, 37, died on the scene when a car driven by Emanuel Elliott, 38, pulled in front of Crowe’s SUV at the intersection of 45 North and County Road 1090.

Troopers say Crowe’s vehicle left the road and flipped multiple times.

Elliott fled the crash site but was captured later Tuesday.

Charges against Elliott are possible as the investigation continues.
