Tupelo Announces Major Fairpark Expansion

TUPELO (WCBI A major expansion of Tupelo’s Fairpark District is in the works.  City leaders and local developer Colin Maloney unveiled a $12 million dollar construction project for the  region.

Maloney’s company will build a  mixed use series of buildings that combine office, retail and dining options.  The new buildings will be tied together with a street plaza theme.  The city is providing sewer improvements and will also construct a connector street between Fairpark and neighboring Elizabeth Street.   Long term projections call for 100 full time jobs to be created by the new businesses.
