Video: Tupelo Farmers Market Adding Hours, Programs

TUPELO, Miss. — The Farmers’ Market will reopen in May as The Tupelo Farmers’ Depot with a new logo and new vendor hours.  The vendor hours will change on Tuesdays to 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.  Thursday and Saturday hours will remain 6 a.m. to 12 p.m.

The new Farmers’ Depot will go beyond the normal market.  The new Tuesday hours will open up the opportunity for live music, catered dinners by local restaurants and allows for customers to come by after work.

The Farmers’ Depot will also be capable of hosting egg vendors. Any vendors interested should contact the Downtown Tupelo Main Street Association for more information.

The opening day of The Tupelo Farmers’ Depot is Saturday, May 16 and remains open until the end of October.  On Friday, May 15, Feast for the Farmers, a “farm to table” dinner will be served at the Farmers’ Depot.  Tickets are available now for $25 and can be purchased online at tupelomainstreet.com or in the Main Street office located on 108 S. Broadway St. All proceeds will benefit new projects and improvements at the Tupelo Farmers’ Depot.
