Video: Tupelo Kids Go on Shopping Spree

TUPELO, Miss. (WCBI) — Imagine what you would do with $100, if you were a kid.

30 of them with the Tupelo Boys and Girls Club got to go on a big shopping spree, Thursday, at Academy Sports and Outdoors.

This is the second year the store has given these special kids $100 gift cards.

Store Manager Kris Keel says his store has plenty of back-to-school items to choose from.

“We’re getting ready for back to school,” Keel said. “They have unlimited access. They can buy book bags, footwear apparel, lunch boxes, anything to help them get ready for back to school.”

This Tupelo store was only one of 100 that got to sponsor a gift card give-a-way.
