Video: Tupelo Police Investigating Fatal Accident

TUPELO, Miss. (WCBI) – Tupelo police are investigating an early morning accident that left one dead and another injured.

On May 4th around 1:30am, emergency services was dispatched to the 500 block of Lumpkin in Tupelo for a car accident.

Officers found that a single vehicle, occupied by 2 adult males, left the roadway.

The cause is unknown.

The driver of the vehicle died in the accident.

The passenger is still being treated for injuries. His condition is unknown at this time.

The name of the victim isn’t being released at this time.

The investigation is ongoing.
