Tupelo Police reportedly catch suspect in auto burglary act

TUPELO, Miss. (WCBI) – Tupelo Police reportedly caught an auto burglary suspect in the act.

Saturday, Officers were called to Lee Motors on South Gloster Street in reference to an auto burglary.

When they got there, they said they found a suspect, identified as Rodney McDowell, inside a vehicle belonging to the business.

McDowell was arrested and charged with one count of burglary of a vehicle.

His bond has been set at $20,000.
