TUPELO, Miss. (WCBI) — Saturday was a day to literally get down and dirty.

Participants took off on a quarter mile sprint and then began the first ever grueling and dirty 1-point-25 mile Mud Stumper adventure course featuring nine challenging obstacles laid out behind the Orchard Church. Senior Pastor Will Rambo, says they decided to do something fun for the community.

“The Idea for doing the Mud Stumper came out of a conversation where we realized a lot of our community events are focused on kids,” he explains. “And we wanted to create something that people of all ages could come and be a part of and just be together today.”
Rambo says the church is grateful that the Tupelo Fire Department volunteered to hose down participants who couldn’t wait to get that dirt off. He says 125 people signed up, but many more folks showed up and he thinks close to 200 went through the course.
