TUPELO,  Miss. (WCBI) – The Tupelo community gathers together to give thanks.

Hundreds filled the Christian Life Center at St. Paul United Methodist Church Monday (11-19) afternoon for a service that dates back decades.

It began with the city’s Bi-racial Committee to promote positive race relations.

In later years, local churches have taken over the event.

The Tupelo Unity Choir and the St. Paul Inspirational Choir both performed.

Several city leaders also delivered inspirational messages.
