Tupelo Woman Dies In Weekend Wreck

SHANNON, MS (WCBI) -The results of blood and toxicology tests will determine if charges will be filed in connection with a wreck that killed a Tupelo woman.   28 year old Matilda Tompkins died Saturday afternoon when the S-U-V she was riding in crashed.  Sheriff Jim Johnson says the truck left County road 300 near  Shannon and hit a drainage culvert.  The driver and three others were taken to the hospital with various injuries.
