Two injured in Lowndes County crash on Tenn-Tom Bridge

LOWNDES COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – Two people were injured after a rear-end crash on the Tenn-Tom Bridge in Lowndes County Monday morning.

It happened just after 9 o’clock.

An MHP spokesman said a Ford Explorer driven by 68-year-old Clyde Edwards Junior collided with a Hyundai Accent from behind. The driver of the car was 60-year-old Mitchell Joseph Priola Junior. Both vehicles were westbound and hit the left concrete barrier on the bridge.

Both drivers were taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

MHP continues to investigate the accident.
