Two people charged for bulldog statue vandalism

STARKVILLE, Miss. (WCBI) –  Two people accused of vandalizing the Bully statue in the Junction have been charged.

Mississippi State Police Chief Vance Rice said Mathes Tillinghast and Timothy Yeldell were both charged with Malicious Mischief.

Yeldell turned himself in to the Oktibbeha County Jail this past Thursday.

The two men were accused of spray painting “woo pigs” on the statue ahead of the football game.

If convicted, the two could face thousands of dollars in fine.
