Two Tupelo Men Behind Bars After Running From The Law

TUPELO, Miss. (WCBI) – Two men are in custody tonight after running from local law enforcement.

It started with a shooting at Lakeview Drive on Friday night.

Police responded to a call reporting an unoccupied vehicle at Dodges Chicken on Main St.

Witnesses says they saw two males, believed to be Lekendrick Hux and Jason Hart fleeing into a Wal-Mart Super Center.

One suspect was apprehended inside Wal-mart and the other was caught fleeing to the vehicle.

The two are facing misdemeanor charges.
