A two vehicle crash in Columbus sends at least one person to the hospital

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) – A two-vehicle accident in Columbus sends at least one person to the hospital.

In the video, you can see two SUVs apparently crashed into each other near Cookout and Cj’s Pizza on 18th Avenue North.

The accident happened around 3:45 Sunday afternoon.

It looks like one SUV was attempting to pull out of the Towne Square parking lot when they collided with the second SUV.

Baptist Memorial Hospital, the Columbus Police Department, and Columbus Fire and Rescue responded to the scene.

It’s unclear what caused the accident or if there was more than one injury.
