United Way Hosts Campaign Kickoff

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) – Businesses in Columbus and Lowndes County are ready for another year of fundraising for local charities.

The United Way of Lowndes County held its campaign kickoff breakfast Tuesday morning.

The organization set a goal of $550, 000.

Campaign coordinators got fundraising ideas and other resources to help them raise money that will stay in their community.

The campaign runs through early December.

United Way of Lowndes County serves more than twenty local charities.
