Unity Day
NEW HOPE, Miss. (WCBI) – Students at New Hope High School wore the color orange, for a different reason this month.
The Cool-2-Be-Kind Club, sponsored the high school’s Third Annual Unity Day.
The whole student body filled the gym this morning, October, 25. The program focused on bullying and its effect on students.
Many of the students wore the color orange, calling for an end to bullying.
Organizers say this event is designed to ask students what their ‘true colors’ are when it comes to the issue.
The program featured several special guests, including speakers from community counseling services, and safe haven, just to name a few.
