Unloaded gun found at Tupelo elementary school

TUPELO, Miss. (WCBI) – An unloaded gun was found at a Tupelo elementary school.

A spokesman with the Tupelo Public School district said the unloaded gun was found in a Lawndale Elementary student’s possession Thursday.

Tupelo police and school administration confiscated the gun.

TPSD said at no point was anyone at the elementary school in danger.
