Historic Homes Gone To Make Way For New Developments

STAKVILLE, Miss. (WCBI) – Two historic homes are no longer standing in downtown Starkville near South Montgomery street.

The homes dated back to nearly 50 years ago,but they weren’t registered on the local or national registry.

They’re being replaced with a new development called Midtown apartments.

It will include living space, retail shops, and restaurants.

The multi-million dollar project is expected to be completed by August of 2018.
