Update on the 155th Armored Brigade

MISSISSIPPI (WCBI)- The 155th Armored Brigade Combat Team has been deployed to the Middle East for nearly 4 months now.

The soldiers are in Kuwait, as part of “Operation Spartan Shield. It’s a middle eastern contingency operation based out of the Central Command Theatre.

The Mississippi National Guard Unit has 4,500 men and women from Mississippi, Kansas, and California, in this task force.

100 of them are from the Starkville Armory.

Their deployment is for 9 months.
