Update On Bulldog Wide Reciever’s Death

MARIDIAN, Miss. (WCBI)—Meridian Police have released the name of the suspect wanted for the shooting and killing of former Mississippi State Bulldog wide receiver Chris Smith.

Police tell our sister station in Jackson that 34 year old Tirale Reed is wanted for murder, felon in possession of a firearm, and shooting into and occupied dwelling.

Investigators believe Reed shot and killed Smith at Frankberry Courts Apartments in Meridian. If  you have any information, contact law enforcement.
