UPDATE – Victim In Lee County Crash Identified

SHANNON, Miss. (WCBI) – One person died and another was injured in a two-car crash in Lee County Thursday.

Lee County coroner Carolyn Green tells WCBI  37 year old Tamara Wright of Shannon died in the crash The wreck happened in Shannon on County Road 300. 

Emergency responders took one person to North Mississippi Medical Center.

The Lee County Sheriff’s Department is investigating.
