Video: UPDATED – Booneville Doctor, 3 Others Injured In Alcorn Plane Crash

ALCORN COUNTY, MS (WCBI)  – A Booneville doctor and three members of his family all suffered injuries after a morning plane crash in Alcorn County.



Dr. David Chase was piloting the single engine plane from Corinth to Florida when the aircraft developed some type of trouble shortly after takeoff.  Chase attempted to return to the Roscoe Turner airport but the plane did not have enough power to make it.  The plane clipped some trees before crashing in the front yard of an abandoned home.  Chase, his wife and their daughter were all taken to Magnolia Regional Medical Center with non life threatening injuries.  His daughter in law was flown to a Memphis hospital. her condition is unknown at this time.
