Video: VA Mobile Clinic Stops in Eupora

EUPORA, Miss. (WCBI) — Some North Mississippi veterans didn’t have to go far to receive medical care, Thursday.

That’s because the G.V. “Sonny” Montgomery VA Medical Center’s Rural Health Outreach Team set up a mobile health clinic in Eupora.

Eligible vets were able to take advantage of health care services and enrollment information at the portable facility.

Veterans tell WCBI their visit paid off.

“They have helped get me enrolled,” said veteran Taylor Britt. “I have been trying to call and get up with them, and actually being able to talk to a real person in person is actually helpful. It’s better than doing it over the phone, and just listening to somebody, you actually see that they care.”
