Verona Police Searching For A Murder Suspect

VERONA, Ala. (WCBI) – Verona Police and the U.S. Marshals are looking for a suspect in a fatal shooting.

Verona Police Chief J.B. Long says Jarnavis Chandler, 27, is wanted for murder in connection with the shooting last Thursday at a car wash.

Jazken Green, 26, was shot Thursday afternoon and died Friday at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo.

The chief says the U.S. Marshals Service is looking for Chandler, and he asks anyone with information on his location to call authorities.

Long says Chandler is considered armed and dangerous.
