Victim identified in Tupelo homicide investigation

TUPELO, Miss. (WCBI) – A woman found dead in an apartment in Tupelo has been identified.

Lee County Coroner Carolyn Green identified the woman as Kelly Conway, 51, of Tupelo. Her body has been sent to Pearl for an autopsy.

Around 10:15 Monday morning, Tupelo police were called to a home at 1015 Eisenhower Drive. Police said Conway was found dead in a small apartment attached to the home.

Investigators haven’t released any other details regarding the case.

Police said right now the investigation points towards a possible homicide.
