VIDEO: 2nd Annual Kickball Tournament

WEST POINT, Miss. (WCBI) The Golden Triangle’s 2nd annual Kickball Tournament was held Saturday in the West Point Sportsplex.

Teams from West Point, Starkville, Columbus, Macon, and Meridian competed for bragging rights.

The sport most closely resembles baseball, but with the playground twist in the form of the big, red ball that players must kick before running the bases.  Organizers say part of kickball’s appeal is its’ simplicity which allows all ages and skills levels to join in the fun.

16 teams competed in Saturday’s tournament.  First, second, and third places trophies were awarded.
