VIDEO: 6th Annual Little Hands Big Truck Day

COLUMBUS, Miss.(WCBI)- Saturday the soccer complex in Columbus was over run by little hands and big trucks.

United Way of Lowndes County invited residents, of all ages, to visit with first responders and local businesses for the 6th annual Little Hands Big Trucks event.

The kids got to tour all the heavy duty vehicles, machines, and equipment, including operating a crain.

Event organizer Scott Ferguson says this is an opportunity for the kids that doesn’t come around everyday.

“It’s just a great event for kids, of all ages big and small even us big kids, to get out there and get up close with those big pieces of equipment that we just don’t get the opportunity to do each and every day,”said Ferguson
