VIDEO: Aberdeen Holds Annual Main Street Open House

ABERDEEN, Miss (WCBI)- The city of Aberdeen held its annual main street open house Sunday afternoon, and it is their way to show a clear transition in the holiday season.

The entire main street showcased their Christmas decorations during this open house.

“It’s nice; it’s a nice event. All of the community, they walk back and forth. They get to visit all of the stores. You get to meet everybody. They get to meet most of the store owners that they may not see during the week when they visit the stores, so it’s nice. Everybody gets to meet each other,” said store owner Latrina Davis.

Businesses along the road opened their doors, offering their merchandise at discounted prices, as well as free refreshments.

Old and new businesses alike are happy to be a part of this event, because it’s another way to bring an already close community even closer.
