STARKVILLE, Miss. (WCBI) — Main Street Starkville became the place for a walk down memory lane bringing back Beetlemania.

This time the big stage is at the Downtown Starkville Cadence Bank Plaza, not the Ed Sullivan Theater.

In celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Beatles and support of the Mississippi Performing Arts Community, Guitarist Stephanie Jackson and an all-female string quartet group of musicians from the area gave a free concert.

Music lovers at the plaza got to hear those tunes like Eleanor Rigby, and She Loves You Yeah Yeah Yeah, that made The Fab Four a household name in the 1960’s.
