Video: Brooksville Students Celebrate Success

BROOKSVILLE, Miss. (WCBI) -Noxubee County students are celebrating a successful year.

Virgil Jones, Jr. Elementary School hosted an end of the school year explosion.

Students, faculty, and staff enjoyed games, music, and food during the celebration in the gym this afternoon.

And the best part: prizes like restaurant gift cards, movie tickets, and even bicycles.

“We are celebrating our students success throughout the whole year. We had several businesses and organizations donate things to our school as an incentive to show they appreciate the hard work they have done this year.”

Organizers say they plan to make the celebration an annual event.
