VIDEO: Brunch and Browse in Starkville

STARKVILLE, Miss. (WCBI News) – Guests in Starkville for the Women’s NCAA Tournament were invited to visit several brunch locations at their leisure, while browsing the stores of local merchants for the city’s sixth annual brunch and browse event.
“We’re excited because there are so many things happening on campus, so many wonderful things, things that Mississippi State graduates can be proud of,” said Kosciusko resident B.J. Swafford.
The event is the city’s way of showcasing its unique downtown eateries and boutiques, while also celebrating MSU’s selection as host of the first and second round of the women’s college basketball championship tournament.
Both guests and locals are raving about the benefits that came with Sunday’s Brunch and Browse.
“We’ve had people from all over the state. We’ve had people from out of the state. We’ve had people from Alabama come in today especially with the tournament going on. Today was a good day,” said Book Mart employee Payton Wigington.
Brunch and Browse was sponsored by the Greater Starkville Development Partnership.
