Video: Celebration Village Draws Large Crowds With Diverse Products

TUPELO, MISS. (WCBI) – The annual shopping extravaganza known as “Celebration Village” is attracting people from the region.

Building Five of the Tupelo Furniture Market has been transformed into a holiday marketplace.

More than 130 vendors are selling everything from clothes, jewelry, arts and crafts, food and many other items.

Proceeds from ticket sales and booth space benefit Sanctuary Hospice House and the event gives many a chance to get a jump start on Christmas shopping.

“A lot of people do not know we’re located in New Albany and Ripley Mississippi, so I feel like being at Celebration Village and getting the word out to our Tupelo and Saltillo customers is very important, we have had a huge Tupelo base come to our Ripley and New Albany locations since we have been at Celebration Village,” said Natalie Floyd, co owner of Merle Norman in New Albany and Ripley.

“We had some people who encouraged us to come and set up , we have been here as customers before, but first time as a vendor, we’re excited to be here, everybody is so nice and it’s very well organized,” said Carrie Ruth, of Ruth Manor Pottery.

Celebration Village continues this evening with a “Girls Night Out”  and it runs Saturday throughout the day.
