VIDEO: Changes Coming To West Point

WEST POINT, Miss.(WCBI) – There will soon be a new, fun place for kids to visit in West Point.

Yokohama Tire Corporation partnered with the KaBOOM Charity to bring a brand new playground to the West Point Community.

The new play ground will be in Marshal Park. The play ground will be able to accomodates more than 700 kids.

Yokohama President and CEO Tetsuya Kuze says it’s important to them to provide a safe enjoyable environment for the kids in the Community.

“We want to continue our production safely and successfully and make a really good product and we want to continue good collaboration with West Point

Columbus and Starkville just everywhere in Mississippi,”said Kuze.

Yokohama and Kaboom will be joined by roughly 200 volunteers for the project.
