Video: Columbus’ Gilmer Almost Gone

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) – Demolition work will soon wrap up at the site of the old Gilmer Inn.

Columbus spokesman Joe Dillon says crews expect to be done in two weeks.

Once the work is complete, 4th Street North will be opened.

The area will become a grassy lot until plans are finalized for future development.
