Video: Columbus Man Shot, But Uncooperative With Police

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) -A 29-year-old Columbus man is shot in the shoulder but police say he’s not being very cooperative.

He was shot about 12-30 this afternoon at Eveningside on 8th Avenue North and was found inside an apartment.

The unidentified man told officers he was walking near the complex when he heard a shot and realized he’d been hit. Neighbors said they didn’t see or hear anything.

Police searched the area for shell casings and questioned whether the shooting happened somewhere else and if the man was dropped off there in a car.

Witnesses say the shooting appeared to have been at close range.
